Shadow's nuts! We took him climbing on Saturday, and the old man's unstoppable! He did great, we let him off of his leash and he mostly stuck around and really enjoyed his time outside, jumping off of cliffs, and chasing bugs around in the water. He's pretty awesome. His age did prove itself on Sunday though when he had zero energy and laid around and napped all day.
We did the same, so no judgment here.
Here are a couple of photos. Sorry if they're getting kind of repetitive, there's not a lot to do around here if you don't feel like spending all of your money.
Dirty dog. He went chasing after bugs in the water, and despite his smelliness afterward, the bug chase was worth the goofy entertainment he provided.

I kind of can't believe you have a dog. It makes you seem even more "married". He looks like the perfect age - still able to be rowdy and have a good time, but chill and settled when you need him to be. Much like myself, I think. My God, am I an eight year old Lab???
Great dog, and it was more fun for me to hear your laughter than to watch the silly video of your dog. Thanks for sharing.
