I had too much fun not to share, and of course I had my camera strapped around me the entire time.
It was fun spending alone time, talking about stupid things, or the opposite- or just sitting in silence looking like fools half asleep floating on a canoe in the middle of a dirty swamp.
My mom used to tell stories about putting Jenny to bed at night, and how Jenn always made her say "I like and love you!" It's a fun way to make fun of Jenn, of course, but I think she had a point. You can't just love your person- you darn well had better like them as well...I think we've discovered that we truly do like each other. Enjoy the photos! More blogs to come about our recent visitors.
Yeah, he's got a portfolio.
We know how to relax.
In my devotions today, it suggested I make a list of things I'm grateful to God for. Today, I'm grateful for close friends and family, safety and security, and a devoted and faithful husband. It doesn't take much more than a glance at these photos to see that I am very very blessed.
Again, God is good.

Great pictures!! I saw a church sign a while back that said "Get rich quick...count your blessings" :) Very important to know the things we are blessed with and to treasure them! We're some lucky girls :)
Looks like a great day, without all of your parents hanging around. It was great to see you and Jody together this past week, you make a great pair. I think that Jenny is right, we need to "like you" before we can "love you". Check your email. Love you
Seth and I have been able to spend a lot of time together this summer and it reminded me of how amazing it is to a) live in the same house as my husband, b) enjoy his company immensely, and c) be in this season of life. Glad you are there too, sistul.
