You may now add another tally on the Epic Fails list for Jody and Kayla.
We don't know how to take care of a pet properly. Shadow has moved on to bigger and better places- a new home with a big yard and an owner who's obsessed with her cat (and hopefully soon Shadow as well...I think). Shadow is no longer with us due to a bit of a financial mess his care has been putting us in, and for his own good, since we've sensed his complete unhappiness with being trapped in our apartment all day. Poor guy. We were sad to see him go, but we both know it's for his own good. Thanks for the laughs, Big Shadowski.
Jody is gone again this week, but he had the entire weekend off and we had the opportunity to spend some time catching up together.
On Friday I had a quick episode of the stomach flu so we stayed at home and watched movies all night, but by Saturday morning I was wide awake and ready to roll. I went to my first spinning class in what seemed like forever, and then Jody and I hopped in the car and drove to Richmond for a day of folfing, but not before mixing up a few cd's, loading the boom box up with batteries, and stopping for a few tall boy's along the way. It was a beautiful Saturday, and I was lucky enough to be dubbed 'boom box expletive' and simply followed Jody around the folf course, taking pictures, singing to myself and occasionally applauding his ever-so-good folfing skills. Not a bad gig.
All in all, we had a (pretty boring) wonderful weekend full of sleep, movies, home made pizza, and more sleep. Excellent.
On Friday, I get to first pick up my husband, then head to the airport to grab his parents for their quick visit with us over the Fourth. My parents get in on Saturday. Winning!
That's it for now. I checked out the entire Chronicles of Narnia series at the library yesterday, and finished the whole first book in one day. I'm reverting back to my childhood this week, so don't bother trying to get ahold of me for anything semi-adult related.
I don't know what that means.

Here is one thing that is NOT a fail: Jody's abs. Sorry about the loss of Shadowski. But you did the right thing. Remember when we had to give away Tiggy? Of course... that cat was the devil. I generally hate folfing - maybe I would like it better if I were the Boom Box B*t%. I will have to try that next time. Love you, sista!
Sorry you had to say bye bye to Shadow. Thanks Janelle for reminding Kayla of the Tiggy incident. (she still hasn't forgiven me for that). KAyla, We will be there soon.
