Happy New Year!

Thanks to everybody for all of the birthday calls, texts and cards!  I had a great 20th birthday, and am now officially an adult- so no more teenager jokes, please.  We're all over those jokes. 
Since Jody had duty the night before my birthday, I spent the morning sleeping, 30 day shreddin' and lounging in my sweats.  I also started my first day as an intern at Curves to finish up my personal trainer certification.  I worked late and came home to a fantastic candle lit dinner cooked by you-know-who.  For dinner we had grilled tilapia, parmesan couscous, steamed veggies, and blackberry wine for dessert.  Heck yeah, man! 

Jody and I both started school at Thomas Nelson Community College this week.  Jody's taking an online english course and is really busy with work right now.  Since I'm going full time and will be working at Curves two nights a week, we haven't seen a whole lot of each other lately.  We're both excited and very optimistic for the changes 2011 has brought though, and things are looking pretty well.

Firstly, this little guy is my favorite.  This is Michael, Jody's sister's son.  He looks exactly like Jody to me, and I think they act the same too.  Check out the photo similarities.

Star Performer!  Jody's mom hosted a Karaoke party on Christmas night and it was a big hit.  Obviously.  Enjoy the show, just don't judge :)
