Our kid is the cutest.

I adore being a mother.

I'm desperately wanting to buy a house.

I just bought new running shoes.

Our kid is the cutest!

Jody hates his job.

Jody loves his job.

I hate Jody's job.

I love Jody's job.

I'm always tired.

I miss Virginia.

Cedar won't stop growing up.

Our kid is the cutest!!

And, that's our life in a nutshell!  Each day continues to ebb and flow and all is well up in hurr.  Some days, Jody's lack of schedule or night shifts really get the best of us (think, tired, crabby husbands clashing with tired, crabby wives, double clashing with tired, crabby baby...), and others, we are completely content with his odd schedule (Ahem:  Payday.) and are just thankful for a job.

To cover my other notes lightly, I DID just get a new pair of running shoes and I'm in love!  My knees feel great and (when I find the time) I'm running 2-3 miles 3-4 days per week.  Not as much as I wish I could run, but working full time with Cedar, a house, Jody, groceries, yada yada's, and I just don't FEEL like spending all of my free time on a treadmill.  I understand that I could make it work, and some women do, but running a bajillion miles or squeezing into super-skinny jeans are no long very high atop my priority list.  (Go me!)

A few things:  I will be staying home with Cedar this summer!  We have also began looking at houses and have got the fever.  We have visited the bank and have begun the process in which to do so, and we have been busy running around town looking at houses.  It's fun and stressful, but mostly fun!

Our little Boog will turn one in just a few weeks, and I know I am going to cry.  She makes me laugh day in and day out, and her smile is 110% contageous.  She is a full time walker now, has two teeth, several words, and loves dancing more than anything in the world.  She also loves her dad, and looks around the house saying 'Dada?' in the mornings when he is sleeping or working.  Her best buddy and playmate is little Hamilton, who cannot seem to get enough of 'Der'.  They are the sweetest babies.  I love them.

Speaking of babies!  A few quick (and late!) shoutouts to all my friends out there havin' babes!

Danielle had her sweet baby girl back in February!  She named her Emelyn Ava Marie, and she's beautiful.  Emelyn's big brother Ayden is my special buddy.
Next came April, another gal and great friend from Virginia had her second little girl just a few weeks ago, and Jessi (Oh how I miss you, if you're reading this!) had big boy Grayson just a few days ago, and lastly, my dear friend Marissa had her second little girl, Gracen Virginia, just the day after Jessi gave birth.  Here is a link to the my Congratulatory post for Marissa's first little girl, two years ago.
I HAD baby fever, but i finally was able to hold Marissa's little one, and her precious tini-ness has cured me.  I think.  But anyway, big congratulations to all of my baby-bearing friends!  You are TOUGH gals and I love you each dearly.

Okay - enough chit chat.  Let's get to the good stuff:

Jenny visited!  We went to the Zoo...
 Hamilton was super cool...
Cedar discovered slides are pure joy.
Cedar learned how to be silly...
and how to climb into almost anything.
We have enjoyed walking to the park...
swinging...
 and just being plain gorgeous.
Easter!  Cedar hated her Easter dress so it didn't last long.  Oh!  And if you're wondering where Jody is, he was called to work on Easter morning.  Boo!
Janelle hosted a lovely Easter brunch and I gorged myself on cinnamon rolls and coffee.  Yum.
Cedar learned...
how to...
Walk!

Way to go, big girl!

Oh my gosh! Those pictures, I will have to agree with you , she is the cutest girl ever. I love Ham and Der's excitedness when they see each other and the way Hamilton trys to give her a bottle and pets her when we tell him to be gentle!
