We just had our internet connection hooked up yesterday, so here's to hoping I find the energy and willingness to write more posts on our little family now that I have the means.
Life has been both fast and slow. Some days fly by while others really drag. Janelle is now back at school and I find myself a bit lonely at times, especially on nights when Jody works late. I had hoped that Jody might find himself working a schedule which would allow me to find a part time job - it would be nice to have an adult conversation and a paycheck - but as the search for a good job continues, we find ourselves a bit stuck in regards to what we'll be doing in the next few years. It's tricky and it's stressful, but I also know that it's temporary.
Cedar continues to grow and develop and make me smile from day to day. The kid is just so darn cute, and I can hardly fathom that I lived 22 years without her. She is a rolly-polly now, even making her way from one end of the room all the way to the other, somehow (this has only happened once - I'm not sure how she did it, but she relocated herself when I was out of the room). My sweet baby is growing up! It makes me swell with both pride and sadness.
We relocated the bassinet to the basement and replaced it with a big girl crib. She looks so tiny in there!
This is the position I always find her in. And pretty much the look she always has on her face.
4 months! Yikes, where has the time gone!?
Giggles McGee.

I'm sorry I've left you high and dry, sistul. I remember the feeling well (last summer) of boredom and a touch of loneliness. It will get better! Cedar is just beautiful, as is your home. Love you!
You can always come and see me at work, or should I say, see Jeanni and Lisa? They seem to take over you and Cedar:)I am loving you living in town. Quick unexpected trips to TJ MAxx, Target, Starbucks and dinners together. Loving that little baby of yours.
Hi Kayla...one of Aubyn's friends creeping on your blog here...anyway, I have two little ones (my youngest is four months old just like your cutie!) and I can relate to that tricky adjustment of being home. Have you thought about joining MOPS (mothers of preschoolers)? Some friends and I just started a group in Laurel and I have loved learning about the organization! I know Emmanuel Baptist and St. Pius in Billings have MOPS groups...check it out at mops.org. A little time with other mommies is so nice :-)
I remember being super lonely on maternity leave and majorly craving adult conversation, so I know how you feel! Hopefully everything will work out for Jody job-wise soon so that life can normalize again for you 3!! Love the video, miss you lots :)
