Yep, it's happening!

 

If you thought my posts were whiney and dramatic before, then brace yourselves or remove me from your blog list, because now I'm pregnant and crazy.

 

We're...shocked, excited, terrified, ecstatic and everything in between.  We found out just over two weeks ago, and after agreeing to let things 'settle' between us for a while before sharing the news with our friends and loved ones, we discovered several days later that we were both dying to tell somebody, and apparently we can't keep our own secrets.

 

I, of course, wanted/needed to start asking questions.

 

Jody is just very pleased with his man parts.

 

So, here it is.  This is certainly a time for prayer and celebration!  It feels surreal, and I am so very blessed.  Please pray for the health of the little monster (who for the last week seems to be eating me alive from the inside out) and also for me, for said 'issue'.

 

There will be updates to come, as things move along.  This is all still very fresh and new, so gentle support and big prayers for now, please.

 

Isaiah 43:1 has been giving me great peace in the past few weeks, as I've experienced some fear and doubts about my ability to carry and then raise a child.  The Lord says...

 

 

 

'I have summoned you by name; you are mine.'

 

He's got me, and I've got this.
