Finally

Jody and I both had a day off yesterday! 

Amen.

It's been a rough few weeks.  Jody's been a working maniac, and we are both growing tired and irritated with the military, work, school, each other, lack of each other, the sun, the moon, the stars, you name it. 

But- yesterday was Saturday, and for the first time in what seemed like forever, Jody didn't have duty.  Oh, the possibilities! 

We decided to call yesterday our Valentines Day since I'll be working Monday night.  After my job interview in the morning, we headed to a rock climbing gym in Virginia Beach where we spent the rest of the day.  The gym was mediocre.  I'm not a huge indoor climbing gym girl.  A gym just won't compare to the real thing- but it was something different to do and I think Jody had a good time, or at least I hope he did.
After climbing, we went out for Mexican and then headed to a late movie at the cinema nearby.
We saw this movie which was a true story about this man.  It was intense.  I'll bet you won't have much to complain about after watching.  Word to the wise, though- it's pretty graffic.  Pa Sky, you'll have to cover Ma Sky's eyes for a few moments during the film.  Be prepared for that.

Anyway, today's forecast is a good one.  I love Sundays, and after cleaning the house and finishing my homework, I get to celebrate Valentine's day yet again with Miranda Rozeki and Danielle Bozung.  Danielle's husband has been deployed since August and won't be home to spend Valentine's day with her, so Miranda and I will be dating her instead.  Lucky us!  There will be yummy dinner, dark chocolate, and some much needed (on my end) girl time.  Sounds good to me.

One quick complaint before I go:

Bloggers:  You all suck at updating.  I need your blogs to entertain me while I should be doing more productive things (like homework).  Since it's all about me, please update your blogs.
