Sorry. Some of us don't come with biceps.
That's beside the point, though. Needless to say, we have most of our necessities, and are very comfortable. It's nice to at least be trapped in a home during the days while Jody is at work, rather than the (very clean) man cave in which I arrived last weekend. I like it here.
I really wanted to get out and do something last night since Jody had duty this weekend, so we walked around downtown Hampton a little and had dinner at a dockside-oyster-bar or something or another. I tried my first oyster (pretty tasty!) and we sweated our way through dinner in the heat.
A good friend sent me this cute apron and almost immediately Jody insisted I bake cookies.
Well, if I have to.
Finished product! They don't taste as good as Ma Sky's though.

Wow. I think I will start putting wine into my cookies, too!
I love blog updates, and I love your apron. And I love you.
I have the same tea pot now! I am only 2 posts into your blog and I am hooked like a fish!
Kudos on the baking and trying new things. I think you and your hubby buddy will have all sort of new adventures!
Betsy has a good point, and eating raw oysters (and liking them) trumps whimpy biceps
YAH welcome to blogging :) We need to plan a trip to meet up!! Hope you are enjoying the east coast.
