A few quick notes.
- Hamilton is perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect.
I especially love his frail little ankles and the way he snuggles his arms up close to his face. I've witnessed 3 half-sneezes, a few smiles (Hey - I'm his Aunty, I get to claim smiles no matter what kind of gas-bubble-faces they really were!) and I'm reveling in some solid lovin' on this guy. I just love him. And my, my - does Jody look great with a baby, or what?
- In Cluster-News, Jody and I learned that we will be welcoming girl in May, if you can believe it.
I'm not sure that I do. Although I had zero 'feelings' whatsoever of the sex of our baby, I think I truly believed it was a boy, because that's what we Schuyler's do: we make little boys. Or, so I thought. I'm ecstatic, though, and a bit hesitant about how to raise a little lady, having watched many fellas being brought up. But I can't wait for this new chapter, it's beginning to feel very real now.
That's all for now. Our 'vacation' is packed to the brim, and thanks to my early-riser status, I've found a few spare moments to myself amidst the craziness.
