Round and Round

I'm still here!
It's recently occurred to me that Jody and I do a lot of unnecessary traveling.
Virginia, Montana, Virginia again, further south with Dad, back up north for me, off to sea with the Burke,

yada yada yada.

I think we get so restless that we tend to just move, regardless of the time, money and energy it takes.  After all, we're the couple who drove all the way to Richmond just to folf and drink a tall boy outside for a few hours.
I've also gone completely out of my way (city, even!) just to get organic chicken from my favorite grocery store (Yes, I have a favorite grocery store.  Ye got somethin to say?)

Heck, we plan on spending months of our lives just plain walking from Georgia to Maine

But hey, back to the point.
Wait,
have I ever had a point?

You all missed out on my 21st birthday!

Poor you.

Jody and I spent the day at Williamsburg Winery faking our wino-hood and sipping lots of wine.  The tour ended just as I got the giggles, so we headed to none other than the Pub to sit at the bar and have a beer together, as husband and wife.  In public.  Whoooaaa.

My birthday was low-key and fun.  We also had our community group that night, so I was able to spend the rest of my evening with some really special people (who also happened to make me birthday cake!).

As for my most favorite of news, my dear friend Casey popped in for a visit last week while Jody was underway.  I simply cannot say how happy I was to show my new (old?) life off to my best friend.  Unfortunately, I was too busy savoring our time together to snap even one photo, but we had a great time together.  We spent many an hour drinking coffee and chatting, shopped lots, napped (hey, what are best friends for?) and drank a few brews together.  Not your typical 21 year old best-buddy-duo, but we fit.

Good ol' Casey.

We also spent several days lounging (freezing) around in Montana last week.
We spent each day (freezing) bouncing from family to friend to in laws to each other.

Tricky times, folks.

It was great fun, though.  We snowmobiled through West Yellowstone, spent lots of time with Jody's nieces and nephews, shared some good meals with good friends, and spent a day up in Red Lodge.

A few photos?

Firstly, whoa.  That's a lot of snow.  This is just my parents' neighbor's house, but I wanted to snap a shot of all of the snow from the inside.
Aw.  I've never seen someone enjoy shoveling the way he did.  We couldn't make a stop anywhere without Jody disappearing for a good half hour with a beanie and a shovel.
Well dip a cracker in me and call me fondue, my heart just melts for these two Boogers.

Bowling champs.
Sweetie Pie.  Sister Cassie sure makes adorable babies :)

How about some updates on my emotional state later?  I'm not much into confessing my tears just yet.

I'm only sort of joking.

Haha?
