This week went by so quickly, I have no idea what I've been doing for the last seven days! Jody had a four day week, and I had Thursday and Friday off to sleep in, work on our new puzzle, hit the gym, do some studying, and find the best-tasting chai in town! Yes. These two days off have been really nice.
On Wednesday night we went to the Blues Fest in Norfolk for some tasty microbrews and a live concert of Old Crow Medicine Show. If you've ever heard of The String Cheese Incident or Railroad earth, they sound very similar to both. We had a ton a fun and I felt a little bit more at home listening to these guys- we both really enjoyed their music, so much so that they now have their own station on our pandora account. Impressive.
I shamelessly busted out the classic taking-a-picture-of-myself shot, but since it's just the two of us, we never get any pictures of..the two of us.
I finally took some pictures, but not much. I would have to clean if I were going to show you the whole house. You wouldn't want me to waste my day off doing that now, would you?
Here's the dining room. Those walls are all so awkwardly huge, we're still trying to figure out what the heck to do with them. Tricky walls.
Here's the peek-a-boo to the kitchen. The bike off to the right was a wedding gift from Jody's Aunt Freida. It's a clock and it's definitely one of my favorite things in the house!
This is the bookshelf I finally bought! It's really not a big deal, but I wanted one so badly that I was one happy camper when we finally set it up and I had somewhere to put a few of my books- and a sistul pictul, of course. It also helped to cover up some of that giant wall!
I don't really have much to update on, but I'm avoiding studying so here are a few more fun things that are either keeping me busy or making me smile :) Enjoy!
Ma Sky sent a care package a few weeks back and she threw in some of these sweet coasters along with a ton of other goodies! They remind me of home and I would never have even thought to buy coasters, so I'm very pleased to have gotten them. Thanks, Ma!
My new favorite. Thanks to working at City Brew, I now have a caffeine addiction and this stuff is delicious! I've never been one to drink flavored coffee, but I really like this- even Jody approves! Two words: Texas. Pete. This stuff goes on everything in this house. It's really cheap and apparently all they serve on Jody's boat, but he's gotten me hooked! It tops sandwiches, pizza, burgers, eggs- you name it! It swims in Jody's nasty ranch-puddle along with his crusty pizza rolls (we have our food differences) and everything else that goes into his belly. They don't have it in Montana though, I've checked- sorry to you!

I love your house, sister! You are making such a nice little grown up! As for the picture... I have three guesses: breast exam, swing dancing, or grinding. Which one is it.
I love the new bookcase. I can now send you more of your books, because I know how much you wanted a bookcase. It is wierd the things that we really WANT when we grow up! As for the picture, my guesss is swing dancing. Make sure Jody uses those awesome Montanan coasters. Love you. mom
